Santan Gopal Mantra Jaap is a sacred spiritual practice performed to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna in his Santan Gopal form for childbirth, healthy progeny, and family happiness. This jaap is especially performed by couples who desire children or pray for the health, protection, and long life of their child.

Features

 

  1. Recommended Jaap count: 108, 1008, or 11,000 times, depending on the sankalp.
  2. Can be performed at home or temple, with or without a priest.
  3. Often accompanied by Santan Gopal Yantra Sthapana and Havan.
  4. Couples may observe mild fasting or spiritual discipline during the jaap period.

Samagri

 

  1. Santan Gopal Yantra (optional but recommended)
  2. Red or yellow cloth for altar
  3. Kalash with mango leaves and coconut
  4. Roli, haldi, kumkum
  5. Akshat (rice grains)
  6. Flowers (especially white or yellow)
  7. Diya (oil lamp) and ghee/oil
  8. Incense sticks, camphor
  9. Panchamrit (milk, curd, honey, ghee, sugar)
  10. Fruits and sweets (especially butter, mishri)
  11. Tulsi leaves
  12. Gangajal (holy water)
  13. Japa mala (preferably tulsi or crystal)
  14. Mantra book or printout (Santan Gopal Mantra, Krishna Aarti)
